**Sarasota County Fire Department Highlights Recruit Class 1024’s Training Journey**

In December, Sarasota County Fire Department (SCFD) introduced its newest group of trainees, Recruit Class 1024. Over a 10-week period, the recruits underwent intensive new employee orientation and training to prepare them for their roles in the department.

SCFD is actively encouraging community members interested in joining to attend one of their Open Houses. These events provide an opportunity to meet SCFD personnel, learn more about career opportunities, and gain insight into the requirements for becoming part of the team.
