**EDC Team Visits Keiser University Sarasota Campus**
The Economic Development Corporation (EDC) of Sarasota County recently visited Keiser University's Sarasota campus and met with Dr. Michelle Morgan, Associate Vice Chancellor and President of the campus. Keiser University, a private, non-profit institution founded in 1977 by Chancellor Arthur Keiser, Ph.D., and Evelyn Keiser, has been a key contributor to workforce development in the Sarasota community.
During the meeting, the EDC team recognized the university's significant role in shaping the local workforce. Over 85% of Keiser University graduates remain in Sarasota County after completing their education, underlining the institution's strong ties to the community and its impact on local economic growth.
Keiser University offers more than 100 degree programs, ranging from associate to doctoral levels. The university serves approximately 20,000 students across 21 campuses in Florida, as well as through online programs and two international locations.
