**Sarasota County Fire Department Hosts Open House at Station 13 on March 8**

Residents of Sarasota County are invited to attend the next Fire Department Open House happening on **March 8, 2024**, at **Fire Station 13, located at 1170 Beach Road, Sarasota**. The event will run from **9 a.m. to 1 p.m.** and is open to the public.

The Sarasota County Fire Department, along with its partners Safe Kids Florida Sun Coast, UF/IFAS Extension University of Florida, and SunCoast Blood Centers, will be welcoming the community for a day of learning, safety demonstrations, and more.

As part of the open house, there will also be a **blood drive** in collaboration with SunCoast Blood Centers. Attendees are encouraged to consider donating **whole blood**, which plays a critical role in life-saving efforts at emergency scenes.
