**Superintendent Shadows Sarasota High Athletic Director in New Episode of “Trading Spaces”**

Sarasota County Schools Superintendent Terry Connor recently took on a unique challenge as part of the district’s “Trading Spaces” initiative. In a new episode, Connor joined Sarasota High School’s Athletic Director and Head Basketball Coach BJ Ivey to experience the fast-paced world of high school athletics firsthand.

During his visit, Connor explored the behind-the-scenes efforts that go into supporting student-athletes, including managing game-day logistics, handling paperwork, balancing academic commitments, and coaching. This immersive experience highlighted the crucial work of the athletic department in ensuring the success and well-being of students on and off the field.
