Orioles Visit Brookside for Health & Fitness Challenge

Baltimore Orioles infielder Coby Mayo and first base coach Anthony Sanders visited Brookside Middle School as part of the Orioles Health & Fitness Challenge. The event is part of a five‐week program designed to help more than 4,500 students from 10 Sarasota County schools focus on healthy eating, tobacco-free living, and physical fitness.

The program, which encourages students to "eat, train, and live like the pros," marks another community outreach effort by the Orioles, who spend a few months each year in Sarasota. The visit highlighted the importance of fitness and wellness among young learners.

The Orioles will start spring training this Saturday at Ed Smith Stadium, continuing their involvement in community and athletic events.
