Josh Ewen, Vice President of Economic Development for the county, emphasized the importance of business collaborations in the region's innovation ecosystem. He was joined by Vladimir Ljesevic, Co-Founder & Managing Partner of CMPSE and Co-Founder – Sarasota, during his presentation.

At The Patterson Foundation’s Digital Access for All Symposium, tech leader Paul A. Sohl, CEO of Florida High Tech Corridor, presented trends in business growth related to technology and innovation across national, state, and local levels. The event underscored the increasing demand for digital skills and technology competence as factors influencing future workforce trends.

Officials expect Sarasota County to add 2,300 jobs in Information Technology, Finance, and Insurance over the next five years. Additionally, growth continues in Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services industries within the county and the Greater Tampa Bay Region.
