**Fire Fest to Feature Prescribed Burn Demonstrations and Family Fun Activities**

SARASOTA COUNTY, Fla. – Sarasota County Emergency Services invites the community to attend Fire Fest on Saturday, January 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the T. Mabry Carlton, Jr. Memorial Reserve. This family-friendly event will highlight the importance and process of prescribed burns in natural land management.

Planned activities include campfire circles with s'mores, kid-friendly games, hay wagon rides, and free food for kids. The event will also feature live prescribed burn demonstrations, weather permitting, at 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
