**Sarasota County Economic Leaders Engage with Global Companies at CES**

SARASOTA, FL – Representatives from the Economic Development Corporation (EDC) of Sarasota County recently made a strategic impact at CES, the world-renowned technology event. Joshua Ewen, Vice President of Economic Development, and Nico Marchitello, Economic Development Specialist, spearheaded the county’s efforts to attract new business and foster innovation within the region.

Prior to their participation at CES, Ewen and Marchitello reached out to over 200 companies that align with Sarasota County's target industry profiles. At the event, the Sarasota team joined forces with the State of Florida, engaging directly with 65 companies within those targeted industry sectors.

Adding to their outreach initiatives, the team conducted a video marketing campaign that successfully reached more than 30,000 potential contacts, further amplifying Sarasota County’s visibility among key players in technology and innovation.

The EDC’s concentrated efforts at CES reflect its commitment to fostering economic growth by actively seeking opportunities in tech-driven industries and positioning Sarasota County as a competitive destination for business development.
