Ninety middle and high school students participated in the 2026 Sarasota County History Day Contest at Selby Public Library in downtown Sarasota on Feb. 28, 2026.

Participants competed in website, exhibit, paper, performance, and documentary categories, all centered around National History Day's theme Revolution, Reaction, Reform in History.

Their projects showcased outstanding research, thoughtful analysis, strong communication, and incredible creativity.

Sarasota County to Host Hurricane Preparedness Community Conversations
