Sarasota History Day Organizers Thank Sponsors, Partners

Sarasota County organizers of the History Day Contest thanked the local business community for its support, naming sponsors and partners who helped make the event possible.

Platinum Sponsor: Education Foundation of Sarasota County, Inc.

Breakfast and Lunch Sponsor: Chick-fil-A — provided meals for judges and volunteers.

Community Partners: Sarasota County Government Department of Libraries and Historical Resources; Sara De Soto Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution.

Selby Public Library opened its space and provided volunteers to host the contest. The DAR co-sponsored lunch and will host the award ceremony on March 26.

The organizers said they are thankful for a community that believes in supporting students and schools.
