North Port Parks & Rec announced it is building its “Freedom Festival: Cheers to 250 Years” playlist for this year’s Freedom Festival.

The event, presented by Dragonfly Dental of Port Charlotte, will feature live music from J&R Fusion. Organizers said it will also include a featured performance by The Dukes of Brinkley at CoolToday Park.

North Port Parks & Rec said the music and patriotic activities will continue throughout the evening before fireworks light up the night sky. The group encouraged residents to bring friends and wear red, white and blue.
