Sarasota County Emergency Services said a burn ban in Sarasota County remains in effect despite recent rains.

The county said residents in #SRQCounty cannot have any open fires of any type. That includes campfires, bonfires, and yard and trash burning.

Residents were directed to learn more about burn bans at scgov.net/fire.
