The North Port Parks & Recreation department posted holiday weekend facility hours for the Independence Day weekend.

The George Mullen Activity Center and the Morgan Family Community Center will be closed Friday and Saturday, July 3-4, due to the Independence Day holiday and Freedom Festival activities.

The North Port Aquatic Center will be open July 3 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and July 4 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The department said full facility access will be available both days.

Warm Mineral Springs Park will be open July 3 and July 4 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
