Sarasota County to hold annual economic development meeting Sept. 24
Sarasota County’s business, civic, and community leaders will gather on September 24 for the county’s Annual Meeting, an event described as a regional business gathering focused on partnerships, achievements, and strategic initiatives shaping the county’s economic future.
Chairman Laura DiBella, chairman of the Federal Maritime Commission and a former Florida Secretary of Commerce, is listed as the keynote speaker. The announcement says her background includes economic development, global trade, workforce initiatives, and strategic infrastructure investments.
