**Sarasota County’s Skye Ranch School to Open in 2025, Now Hiring Staff**

Sarasota County Schools has announced the opening of Skye Ranch School (SRS), a new K-8 school set to establish itself as a STEAM-focused learning hub. The school, which will open for the 2025-2026 school year, marks the first new school in Sarasota County in 14 years.

For its inaugural year, Skye Ranch School, home of the Storm, will serve Pre-K through 6th-grade students, with plans to expand to include grades 7 and 8 in the future. The school places a strong emphasis on creating a dynamic educational environment with offerings such as Engineering and Robotics Labs, Advanced Courses, and Outdoor Classrooms. These resources aim to support the school’s mission of fostering creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in its students.
