The Sarasota County Clerk and Comptroller’s office is hosting Operation Green Light from April 3 to April 5, 2025, at two locations. The program is designed for individuals with suspended driver's licenses, overdue traffic tickets, or court fines. Participants who pay their court obligations in full or sign up for a monthly payment plan will have collection agency fees waived. The fee waiver applies even when the fees can be as high as 30 percent. Customers with multiple outstanding tickets or fines can also set up a consolidated payment plan.

On Thursday and Friday, April 3 and 4, the event will be held at the South County Courthouse in Venice at 4004 S. Tamiami Trail, with operating hours from 8:30 am to 6 pm. On Saturday, April 5, the event will take place at the Sarasota County Historic Courthouse on 2020 Main Street in Sarasota, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

The Clerk and Comptroller’s office will also assist eligible customers in reinstating their suspended driver licenses for an additional fee.
