**SCS Names Employee of the Month for October 2023**

Sarasota, FL - The Sarasota County Schools (SCS) recently announced Mr. Israel Perez, a Delivery Clerk in the Transportation Department, as the Employee of the Month for October 2023.

Mr. Perez was recognized for his exceptional service during a delivery of a large shipment to a school. Noticing that the office was overwhelmed with incoming shipments, he took the initiative to deliver to an alternate location, providing much-needed assistance.

Allison Hamley from Venice Elementary expressed gratitude for Mr. Perez’s kindness and extra effort, saying, "We are so grateful for his kindness and assistance!"

Congratulations to Mr. Israel Perez for this well-deserved recognition.
