**Community Conversation on Child Care Solutions Scheduled for November 19 in North Port**

North Port, FL — A Community Conversation event will take place on November 19, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 7:45 PM at the Shannon Staub Library, located at 4675 Career Lane. The event is hosted by North Port Forward, aimed at addressing concerns surrounding child care in North Port and the surrounding areas.

The evening will feature a panel of experts, including:

- Janet Kahn, CEO of the Early Learning Coalition of Sarasota County

- Ana McClendon, Director of Community Outreach & Engagement at the Early Learning Coalition

- Brittany Lamont, Chair of the Early Learning Coalition Childcare Business Task Force and President of the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance

- Vinnie Mascarenhas, Business Attraction & Development Administrator for North Port Economic Development

The discussions will focus on the challenges of operating in a "Child Care Desert" and explore affordable child care options, as well as information on Florida’s new Child Care Tax Credit for businesses.

This event is open to all business owners and residents who are interested in learning more about these important topics that impact families in the area.
