The Sarasota County Fire Department is currently hiring for Firefighter/EMT and Firefighter/Paramedic positions. The starting salary for Firefighter/EMTs is $54,088, while Firefighter/Paramedics will start at $71,088. Salaries may be higher depending on qualifications and experience.

Benefits offered include paid leave, post-retirement healthcare, tuition reimbursement, health and wellness programs, medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as participation in the Florida Retirement System.
