Dr. Todd Fritch has been appointed as the new President of The University of West Alabama (UWA). His farewell was marked by an event attended by Erin Silk, the President and CEO of the Economic Development Corporation of Sarasota County. Dr. Fritch has been recognized for his significant contributions to the community and workforce development. Under his leadership, innovative programs were created in partnership with the State College of Florida to enhance career readiness and workforce development. The Economic Development Corporation expressed gratitude for Dr. Fritch's leadership and wished him well in his new role.
