Sarasota County Emergency Services is offering a chance to learn more about their prescribed burn team and their critical activities. Recently, they shared photos from a past prescribed burn. They are also preparing to announce an upcoming event called Fire Fest. This event will provide attendees an opportunity to see the team's work up close and learn about the benefits of prescribed burns for the ecosystem. More information about Fire Fest will be available soon.
